Daily COVID-19 update April 29, 2020

As of 3 p.m. today, 1,137 new cases have been confirmed. The state is also reporting 103 new deaths. Michigan has now passed 40,000 total cases and has recorded 3,670 deaths.

Alpena’s cases continue to rise as District Health Department No. 4 is showing 76 total in the county. For the third day in a row, Alpena is also reporting another death, bringing the total to 5.

Of the 308 tests conducted in Alpena, 76 have come back positive, 220 have come back negative, and there are 12 pending.
