Cool and gray Tuesday; Brighter and warmer Wednesday

High temperatures today reached the lower 40s for most of Northeast Michigan. Brisk winds out of the northwest about 15 mph have supplied cooler temperatures to our area. The cool temperatures will continue tomorrow. Then temperatures will get warmer later in the week.

A few patchy showers/flurries were around this morning, but that has mostly weakened. Some areas of patchy drizzle will be possible Tuesday, but for most areas Tuesday will just be cloudy.

Overnight lows will cool to the lower 30s. Morning temperatures will be in the middle 30s with cloudy skies and a chance of patchy drizzle. High temperatures will reach about 42 degrees with a light breeze from the northeast. Skies will remain cloudy into Tuesday evening.

Daily highs will be heading upward over the next few days. Afternoon temperatures will be in the lower 40s Tuesday. Temperatures will climb to the upper 40s Wednesday, then lower 50s for Thursday and Friday.

Tuesday will be gray all day and afternoon temperatures will be around 42 degrees. Wednesday will be partly cloudy, early morning lows will start in the lower 30s and afternoon highs will get up to 48 degrees. Sunny skies are in the forecast for Thursday and high temperatures will warm to the lower 50s.
