Business owner helps locals create crafts for Christmas

ALPENA, Mich. — Many of you are probably over the turkey and ready for crafts as we move closer to Christmas.

Owner of Goodies Vintage Tea Shop, Nichola Cornelius, shows us inexpensive and fun ways to decorate a tree and make holiday gifts.  Cornelius is not only the owner of a local vintage tea shop but she is also a creative who loves making gifts, ornaments and decoratives for the holiday season.  Cornelius said you’ll be surprised what you can find in and around your home that you can use to create.

Cornelius is offering up her talent this holiday season to people who want to tap into their inner creative side and she encourages you to start by grabbing items from around your house.

Cornelius added that this can be a fun project for family and friends to do together.

Because of the threat of COVID–19, Cornelius is offering Zoom as an alternate safe way to guide people through creating.

Cornelius said if you can’t find anything around your house, you can come to her shop and she will gather items for you from her collection.
