Bolenz Holiday Parade returns to streets
ALPENA, Mich. — After a stint as a drive–thru attraction last year, the annual parade will return to its official route next month.
Registration forms for floats are available from the downtown development authority office.
The owner of Bolenz Jewelry, Wayne Calkins, said the community seems to be just as excited as he is.
“We’ve had people inquiring about the parade earlier than most years, asking for entry forms as early as August. And I think that people are really anxious to get back to normal and have a real holiday parade.”
All float applications are due by 4 PM on November 22.
The parade runs November 26.
