Alpena Weather – May 29, 2018

High temperatures today only reached 70 degrees in Alpena, pictured below, and 15-20 degrees colder than the 80s we recently had in Northeast Michigan. Temperatures in the 70s will continue over the next couple of days, though the dry weather will come to an end.

The remnants of Subtropical Storm Alberto are on the move northward, and will bring a day of showers from Wednesday evening through Thursday to our area.

Tomorrow will start off dry, then clouds will increase in the afternoon. Showers from the remnants of Alberto will move in late-day or in the evening.

After the showers through Thursday, temperatures will continue to tumble as winds shift out of the north. High temperatures will only be in the 60s on Friday with mostly cloudy skies. Sunshine should return in time for the weekend with high temperatures warming slightly into the lower 70s.
