Alpena man finally turns himself in
ALPENA, Mich –An Alpena resident wanted for felonious assault after fleeing the scene, turned himself in one week ago .
35–year–old Brandon Lee Sobeck of Alpena is facing felonious assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and two counts of domestic violence.
Back in February troopers were dispatched to the Shell gas station on Bagley street in Alpena Township where Sobeck struck his girlfriend inside a minivan.
According to Sobeck’s girlfriend, he grabbed the steering wheel and was deliberately trying to crash the vehicle.
She also said he struck and choked her.
Sobeck remains in the Alpena county jail.
