An Alpena man is facing multiple charges from an incident from last week.
Michigan State Police were called to an address on Mac Avenue in Alpena last Wednesday. Over the phone, dispatchers believed they could hear a woman crying. It was alleged that the suspect, 50-year-old Mark Delisle had then left the scene before being stopped by another trooper.
The victim claims Delisle was secretly putting methamphetamine in her cigarettes before assaulting her and leaving the scene. She was brought to Mymichigan Medical Center for her injuries.
Delisle was arraigned on Friday on count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and one count of domestic violence second offense. His bond was set at $5,000 and his next court appearance is may 10th.
