Alpena man arrested for several counts of criminal sexual conduct
ALPENA COUNTY, Mich. — An Alpena man has been arrested for several counts of criminal sexual conduct. On Sunday, July 25, 2021, a woman, and her daughter came to the Michigan State Police (MSP) Alpena Post to report the daughter had been sexually assaulted by 23-year-old Tyler Paul Siegert from Alpena. The victim knew Siegert, and the alleged sexual assault took place in the early morning of July 19, 2021.
The investigation led to an arrest warrant being authorized for Siegert by the Alpena County Prosecutor’s Office on August 25, 2021. Siegert was notified of the arrest warrant and turned himself in at the MSP on August 30, 2021. Siegert waived his arraignment in the 88th District Court in Alpena County where he was charged with two counts First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, two counts Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct (Victim 13 through 15).
His bond was set at $25,000 10% cash surety. His next scheduled court appearance is on September 30.
