Alpena High School ranked one of the nations best high schools
Alpena High School has been ranked one of the best high schools in Michigan for the 2022 school year.
US News and World Report ranked Alpena High School in the top 25 percent of high schools in Michigan and 29 percent nationally. Schools are ranked based on a few different factors including college readiness, college curriculum, and state assessment proficiency.
“I think it’s a tremendous honor that we’re very proud of and it is the product of a wonderful administrative team, a fantastic teaching group, and a lot of wonderful professionals that support”, said Lee Fitzpatrick, director of communications for Alpena Public Schools.
Alpena High School was also ranked based on their state assessment performance, graduation rate, and underserved student performance.
