Alpena falls to TC Central, holds 9-2 overall record

TRAVERSE CITY — The Wildcats fell to the Traverse City Central Trojans 58-53. The loss drops Alpena to 9-2 overall, with a 3-2 record in the big North Conference (BNC).
Chris DeRocher led Alpena with 21 points. He is now 28 points away from breaking Butch Feher’s (class of 19772) school record of 1,435 points. Feher went on to play at Vanderbilt University and also had a professional career with the Phoenix Suns.
The Wildcats will try to right the ship against Sault Saint Marie (3-6, 3-1 Straits Area Conference) on January 22nd.
