Alcona and MidMich team up for vaccine Q&A

ALCONA COUNTY, Mich. — COVID–19 boosters and pediatric shots are available in Northeast Michigan, but some people have questions about the vaccine.

The Alcona Health Center has plans to answer those questions in a digital town hall on Wednesday, December 8.

Spokesperson Malinda Amlotte said doctors from AHC and MidMichigan Health will debunk common vaccine myths and take questions from the audience.

Amlotte said they want everyone to ask their questions, even if they seem simple. That’s why they set up a process to anonymize the Q&A section.

“It’s not like your neighbors get to see what you’re asking. All questions come to the moderator, who will read them to the doctors on our panel.”

A range of doctors with different specialties will make up the panel.
