Alaska Sisters Graduate From Same Nursing Program at Alpena Community College
Alpena, Mich.-Meet Alex, Kennedy, and Paige these are the Chmura sisters taking over Alpena Community College.
Their unique story started all the back in a small town of Omer, Michigan traveling to the North Pole in Alaska, then landing them in Alpena all for a chance to study nursing; and yes I did say the North Pole.
24-Year- Old Alex is a 2015 Registered Nurse graduate, and now works in Carson City, Nevada, 21–year–old Paige earned her nursing pin this week, and baby Kennedy is the youngest at 20- years old following behind her sister’s footsteps.
As a nurse, it’s tradition to pin a fellow nurse during their graduation ceremony. Wednesday night the crowd witness that honor by the Chmura sisters. The girl’s mother said she would trust her daughters with any medical emergency. As for as working in the same hospital this trio already has that figured out. But one thing will remain the same, their nurse nickname.
