ACC to host AG primary debate
ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena will play host to some political guests next Friday.
Three major contenders for the republican attorney general candidate will debate in the Granum Theater at Alpena Community College.
Ryan Berman, Matthew Deperno, and Tom Leonard will answer prompts in the first half, then take questions from the crowd for the final 20 minutes.
Montmorency GOP chair Geyer Balog said they have a good team arranged for the debate.
“We’ve got a lot of good questions in there and a lot of good people. We have Carie Mullins- the Alcona GOP chair- and Jennifer Kuznicki- the Presque Isle GOP chair. They’re moderators and great people. Hopefully, Northeast Michigan gets some answers.”
The debate begins at 6 PM Friday, February 18, but doors open at 5 PM.
Seating is first–come, first–serve and masks are required when inside the building.
