ALPENA, MI – The ACC men’s and women’s basketball teams hosted North Central in one of their final home games of the season on Wednesday night.

The Lady Lumberjacks kicked the action off against the Timberwolves. ACC’s offense held strong all night as they ran away with the 63-41 win over North Central. Sophomore forward, Jade Schultz, led in scoring with 34 points. Schultz also added 14 rebounds for the Lady Lumberjacks.

The ACC men followed as they took down North Central with a final score of 74-60. It was a high intensity matchup between the teams, but the Lumberjacks kept hold of the momentum they built in the first half. James Williams and Davarion Mitchell were the leading scorers for ACC. Williams earned 21 points and Mitchell followed with 16.

The men and women head to Mid-Michigan on Saturday. The women kick the action off at 4 p.m., and the men follow at 6 p.m.
