ACC Lumberjacks Volleyball Preview
Sophomore Kaylee Krussell spent last year as the team's setter, but is excited to be back in her natural position this season.
The ACC Lumberjacks start their season September 8th with a home match against the Craft School. Head Coach Sarah Parsons believes that this group of girls has some of the best chemistry she’s seen in her coaching tenure.
The Lumberjacks team consists of 9 freshman and 3 sophomores. One of the biggest additions for the team was recruiting a setter. Last season outside hitter Kaylee Krousell was forced to switch to setter since the team did not have one.
The team’s main strength will come from their middle hitters/blockers and athleticism. They have solid blocking and the team is able to move around and cover plenty of space for when their blockers allow a ball to get through.
