A Chance To Win a $1,000 Shopping Spree For Blood Donors
May is Trauma Awareness Month, and even more of a reason to donate blood. In fact, if you donate at a local blood drive, you could win a shopping spree.
The American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to help ensure lifesaving blood is available for patients with traumatic injuries and other serious medical needs by donating blood.
Those who donate the special gift will have a chance to receive a gift themselves. Donors could win one of three one thousand dollar gift card shopping sprees. If you donate blood by May 14th you can sign up to win one of the gift cards.
Three blood drives will be held in Northeast Michigan this week.
Oscoda High School will be hosting a drive on Monday from 8:00am- 1:45pm. Two drives will be held Thursday– one at St. Francis church in Lewiston from 11:30am- 5:15pm, and another at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Hale from noon until 5:45pm.
