With only two weeks left in the regular season, teams around the state are looking to lock in playoff berths.
Alpena fell 46-21 to Escanaba at home on their senior night. Jake Zann connected with Brady Pagels for two touchdown passes for Alpena
In the premiere match up of the week, Rogers City improved to 8-0 as they took down Alcona 42-26. The Hurons were sparked by two first half touchdowns by Hayden Hentowski. The Hurons clinched the NSL title with the victory. They travel to Hillman next week as they try to complete the unbeaten regular season.
Hillman grabbed their third win of the season as they took down Heston 46-14. Whittemore-Prescott took down Mio in a shootout that saw 130 points scored. The Cardinals came out victorious with a 68-62 win.
Oscoda went on the road to East Jordan and fell 24-14. Tawas fell to unbeaten Boyne City 44-0.
