2nd Annual Police/Fire Luncheon

Everyday our policemen and women, as well as firefighters, put their lives on the line to ensure our safety.

To show the community’s gratitude and appreciation, a special luncheon was held to thank them for all that they do.

“We just felt well this is the second year that we’ve done this and we just wanted to say thank you that’s the bottom line,” said Pastor Jack Williams of Huron Shores Fellowship Church. “These people really many times go without a thank you and we just wanted to make sure that we gave them one,” said Williams.

And they gave them a big one- with kind words, lots of food, and plenty of dessert, resulting in some very grateful servicemen.

“We really appreciate being able to be recognized by folks like this and their generosity,” said Sherriff James Mendham.

There aren’t enough words or food to express our gratitude. But to all of our firefighters and police officers, thank you for your service.
