Zoomed in after passing the bar

ALPENA, Mich . – COVID–19 has probably been the biggest disruption in 2020 leaving many who have worked hard toward their goals having to settle for alternate ways of recognition.

This was the case for recent law school graduate, Christine Burke, who just passed the bar and was sworn in or better yet – zoomed in on Friday, May 1st.

Under normal circumstances of a swearing in, attorneys would be present in the courtroom along with those that passed the bar.

Christine said this was the biggest day of her life.  While her experience was unorthodox,   her outlook remained optimistic.

Christine is currently practicing under the Victims of Crime act providing family law services for domestic violence survivors and said this type of work makes her feel like she’s doing something good.
