Zonta 5K Participants Show Up in Great Numbers to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Despite Rainy Weather

It was one rainy morning but the show must go on, and indeed it did. Over 100 participants including 31 volunteers from the student-nursing program at ACC endured the weather to walk and run for breast cancer awareness.

For survivors and those still battling breast cancer, today’s 5K truly was touching. The annual walk also includes unique creative skills of bras.

There were a total of 43 bras designed this year. ‘Girls Night Out’ was the winner. But all in all the true winners are those who fight until their last breath, support, battle and beat breast cancer.
