Wildcats lose in a heartbreaker on Pink Night

ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Wildcats volleyball team just couldn’t put the pieces together in the fifth set as they lost to Traverse City Central 3-2 (19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 19-25 and 7-15). With the loss, the Wildcats drop to 13-11-3 on the season.

Edie Zann recorded 16 kills and Macy Dickinson finished with 42 assists for Alpena.

The Wildcats return to the court Oct. 9 as they face the Blue Devils at Gaylord. First serve is at 6:30 p.m.
