Week Four Fifth Down Highlights
ALPENA, Mich. — Week four of High School Football in Northern Michigan is almost in the books and there were some great matchups this Friday night.
Starting with 11-man football, Alpena lost to Cadillac by a score of 37-6. In Mancelona, Johannesburg Lewiston lost a shootout 66-42. Last in 11-man, Oscoda lost at home to Frankfort 22-14.
Moving over to 8-man, Alcona hosted Inland Lakes and lost 44-26. Au Gres Sims stayed hot and beat Hillman 48-24. Hale traveled to Atlanta and beat the Huskies 50-8. In Mio, the Thunderbolts topped the Posen Vikings 46-36.
Rogers City and Whittemore-Prescott play on Saturday.
