Webb steps down as Braves football coach
TAWAS CITY, Mich. — It appears that the Tawas braves will have a new football coach next fall. Tim Webb has announced that he will be stepping down as head coach. As head coach, Webb had seven winning seasons and six of those seasons were playoff appearances, giving him a career record of 66-64 overall.
When reached via text message Wednesday afternoon, he replied back saying, “I was planning and looking forward to coaching at Tawas for years to come.”
This season, the Braves finished with a 4-4 record as they missed the postseason by one win.
