ALPENA, Mich.—A student from Sanborn Elementary School and another student from Ella White both have symptoms of COVID–19. According to a letter from Alpena Public Schools, the two third graders were exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID–19.
Students and teachers in both classrooms were sent home and asked to self quarantine for 14 days. Under new protocol, all parents at exposed schools will be notified by robocall.
