Two men arrested after stealing from cars in Alpena Township
ALPENA, Mich. — Two men have been arrested following an investigation into someone stealing from motor vehicles in Alpena Township.
Surveillance footage from one of the victims was able to identify a 40-year-old Alpena man. After being interviewed by authorities, the unnamed man implicated an accomplice, 21-year-old Corey Chrivia from Spruce.
Chrivia was arrested and a search warrant was executed at his residence. Authorities found two stolen pistols. Chrivia is lodged in the Alcona County Jail with a $25,000 cash surety bond. He was arraigned for one count Receiving and Concealing Stolen Firearms, and one count Felon in Possession of Firearms.
The 40-year-old man was arrested and lodged in the Alpena County Jail and has not been arraigned at this time.
