‘Toys For Kids’ Plea For More Donations
This holiday season there are families all around Northeast Michigan that are struggling to provide gifts for their children. Programs like Toys For Kids in Alpena is on a mission to give kids a Christmas that they deserve, but organizers really need your help.
This happy time of year is not always happy for everyone. The Vietnam Vets Chapter 583 is sending out a plea for additional gifts, donations, gift wrappers and delivery volunteers. The chapter is in need of toys for all ages. As well as coloring books, crayons, family board games, hats, and gloves. Monetary donations are also accepted– many retailers offer discounts to the program– where each dollar is donated to Toys For Kids.
