ALPENA, Mich.— As businesses get ready to reopen Friday, District Health Department No. 4 is offering a preparedness plan to protect workers from COVID–19. Employees can resume in person work as well as onsite restaurant dining starting tomorrow after midnight.
Business owners can now access the DHD4 toolkit that includes requirements from state and local health agencies to ensure safety measures are implemented. Requirements include employee health screenings, workplace signs and personal protective equipment.
If a worker is experiencing COVID–19 symptoms they are to be sent home for self quarantine for seven days. Residents are encouraged to practice social distancing heading into memorial day weekend.
