Titans blank Wildcats
ALPENA, Mich. —Â Wednesday, the Alpena Wildcats varsity volleyball team played their first home game since Aug. 27. Alpena was coming into this game looking for their second Big North Conference win of the season. However, it wasn’t the result they wanted. The Wildcats fell to Traverse City West 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-13).
Allie DeRocher paced the Wildcats with six kills, five digs, and five assists. Jade Gray chipped in with eight digs, seven assists, and three kills and Allie Urlaub finished with 10 digs and two kills.
The Wildcats (8-7) will look to get back on track next Tuesday as they will head to Petoskey to take on the Northmen.
