Thunder Bay Junior High Introducing “STEM Courses” and More for Fall Semester
School hasn’t even ended for the summer, but APS is already preparing for next year.
Thunder Bay Junior High School will be launching some new courses come fall semester. 6th graders will be introduced to the science, technology, engineering and math course.
The ‘STEM’ program will allow students to learn more about Goggle (G-Suite) to understand technology. 7th and 8th graders will be introduced to a new elective program focusing on medical research and science discovery.
Superintendent, Dr. VanWagnoer said he’s proud of the advances Alpena Public Schools is trying to make to better educate students for their future.
