The Alpena Michigan Works hosts a job fair
The Alpena Michigan Works hosted a job fair.
The job fair can assist job seekers in finding employment and work force gear needs.
“There are so many unfilled positions in Alpena and Alcona counties job seekers are needing to fill so that is why we’re hosting this today”, said Shelly Blakenship, business solutions professional for Michigan Works.
Michigan Works will help job seekers who find unemployment gear including non slip shoes or scrubs and work attire if they can not afford it.
Human Resource Specialist Brooke Daleski with The Besser Company said, “Someone might want to work for Besser Company because we are an employee owned company which leads to a fun work environment, we have great benefits, paid time off, and it’s really just a great place to work.”
