Scattered snow showers have been moving through Northern Michigan. Most of those snow showers will dissipate this evening. The weekend is looking drier although lots of cloud cover is expected to hang around.

Over the weekend, the jet stream will remain well to the south over the eastern half of the country. The jet stream acts as a major divider between warm and cold air masses. Weather conditions are looking fine for spending time outdoors over the next several days. There could be an isolated flurry, otherwise it should end up mainly dry. Tuesday, temperatures should finally get above the 50 degree mark with breaks of sunshine.
