Teen Pfizer Vaccine Clinic scheduled for May 1st in Alpena

ALPENA, Mich. – MidMichigan Medical Center of Alpena will offer a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for teens.

The clinic is scheduled for Saturday, May 1st, from 8am to 3pm for 16 and 17 year old’s.

The Pfizer Vaccine will be administered. An appointment is required and an adult must accompany the teen to the appointment to sign a consent form.

Clinic organizers said they are thankful for the collaborative effort with our local health department.

“They are providing to us the Pfizer Vaccine and that’s the only vaccine that’s currently approved for teenagers, so we didn’t have the Pfizer Vaccine available to us so the health department partnered with us,” said MidMichigan Physician Administrator Pam Dietz.

Adults will be able to stay with teens as they get their vaccination and assessment.
