A suspect has been identified in the bomb threat that occurred Thursday at Thunder Bay Junior High School. According to Superintendent, Dr. John VanWagoner, an investigation is still ongoing.
School was back in session on Friday after a written bomb threat was discovered in a bathroom stall. Around 1 pm Thursday, law enforcement, confirmed that the threat was determined to be non–credible.
Thunder Bay Junior High was placed in a soft lockdown while administration and police investigated the scene through video footage and a walk through.
Students were released from school at normal time. Guidance counselors were on hand to speak with students.
