TAWAS, Mich. — A positive COVID-19 case amongst the Tawas Braves football team has led them to cancel their week four game on September 17 in Ogemaw Heights, as first reported by M-Live.
The Tawas Area Schools superintendent released a letter to the community on Monday stating the district had seven students who have tested positive for COVID-19.
Administration has informed all close contacts of those cases and are requiring quarantine for them. If you or your child are not close contacts, and do not need to quarantine, you will not hear from the district.
The Braves will travel to Cheboygan on September 24 for their week five game.
