Szatkowski, Vikings extend winning streak to four
POSEN, Mich. — After dropping their season opener to Oscoda, the Posen Vikings girls basketball team has flicked the switch. The Vikings keep finding ways to walk off the court victorious. Once again, they did just that as they defeated Hillman 51-43 on Monday.
Ella Szatkowski led the Vikings in the scoring department with 20 points. Makayla Kamyszek added nine points and Lizzy Romel finished with eight points.
On the other end, Nicole Barbeau had herself a game. The freshman paced the Tigers with 16 points, while Cassidy Benac contributed with nine points.
Posen (4-1) will host Hale (2-2) this Friday, while Hillman (3-3) will head to Au Gres-Sims (1-4) this Thursday to battle the Wolverines.
