Students move to remote learning

ALPENA, Mich.— District Health Department No.4 has also confirmed another COVID–19 case at Lincoln Elementary School. The school was notified by the health department Monday, November 9 and advised students in kindergarten, first and fourth grade not to return to in person classes.

Students and staff in those grades are required to self quarantine for 14 days and will begin remote learning today. A date as to when students can return to class has not been decided.

The health department is encouraging all parents to monitor their child’s symptoms closely.
