ALPENA, Mich.— In person classes are canceled at Alpena High School after two more students were identified as probable cases for COVID–19.
District Health Department No. 4 notified the school around 3pm Tuesday of the two students showing signs of COVID–19 and notified families last night that students are not to return to school Thursday.
The school district is also facing a staffing shortage after teachers were required to quarantine. Students will continue their studies remotely beginning tomorrow and the quarantine order will extend until Friday, October 30.
