Street closure on Eleventh Avenue beginning October 21

ALPENA, Mich. — The City of Alpena has issued another service notice.

Hunt Brothers will begin maintenance on Wednesday, October 21.  Eleventh Avenue from Park Street to Chisholm Street will be closed to traffic and residents will have limited access to driveways.   Residents will also have to park on side streets for extended periods.

Signage and barricades will be up to guide traffic and motorists are advised to utilize Ninth Avenue as a detour route while the project takes place.
