Storms, wind limit Brown Trout Festival fishing on Saturday
ALPENA, Mich. — Mother Nature was in a mood in Northern Michigan on Saturday morning, limiting the fishing at the Michigan Brown Trout Festival.
At 6 a.m. Saturday, a shotgun start for the 44th Annual Two-Day Super Tournament was scheduled, but the weather had other plans. The Super Tournament will now both start and finish on Sunday, the last day of fishing at the Brown Trout Festival. As of Saturday, the Michigan Brown Trout Leaderboard is as follows:
