State Senate Republicans find no evidence of fraud in 2020 election

LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Senate Republicans say they have found no evidence of widespread or systemic fraud in the state’s 2020 presidential election as they concluded a months-long investigation on Wednesday.

The GOP-led Senate Oversight Committee released a 55-page report detailing their investigation into the election on Wednesday morning. The report says, “Our clear finding is that citizens should be confident the results represent the true results of the ballots cast by the people of Michigan.” Citizens were also warned to “use a critical eye” towards those pushing false theories about the election for personal gains.

Attorney General Dana Nessel was also urged to consider probing those who continue to make allegations about the results in Antrim County for “their own ends.”
