LANSING, Mich. – A lot of excitement surrounds our official state Christmas tree, the same spruce cut from our own backyard. WBKB stood in the midst of the 34th annual Silver Bells parade in downtown Lansing to capture the lighting of our prized treasure.
The shiniest scene of the night is why WBKB traveled to the capital. The state hand–picked the 62–foot spruce from Alpena, a sight many back home would only catch from a distance.
