Six-year-old diffuses little brother’s meltdown
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — You may have seen this video that went viral Tuesday of a big brother who diffuses his little brother’s almost tantrum.
Four–year–old Cory West was heading for a meltdown when his Nintendo game did not charge fast enough. Big brother Noah West knew exactly what to do to diffuse the situation. He implemented a breathing exercise that he learned from their mother, Ashely.
Their mom, Ashley West said the moment took her by surprise.
Corey is all better now and even shared his favorite marvel characters.
Ashley said she was not expecting the national attention the family received but was glad it was positive. She added your children’s social experiences with each other, their parents, and the outside world is an important part of helping them grow.
As for Noah, he simply says, “Just breathe.”
