Showers late Friday-Saturday; Feeling like summer on Sunday

We got to enjoy much sunshine today with afternoon high temperatures that warmed into the mid-80s. Mainly clear weather will continue tonight, then clouds will increase tomorrow. By tomorrow evening, showers currently over North Dakota and South Dakota will move eastward and enter our area.

Tomorrow, high temperatures will warm to around 80 degrees in Alpena, and upper 70s elsewhere across Northeast Michigan. A noticeable breeze out of the southwest about 15 mph would normally bring warm temperatures into our area, although afternoon warmth will be limited by incoming cloud cover.

If you are headed to tomorrow’s high school football game of the week, the game should start with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 70s. By half-time, scattered showers will move into the area as temperatures drop to the mid-60s at the end of the game.

Tomorrow will start dry with increasing clouds, then the chance of rain will increase in the evening. Chances of rain will last through Saturday afternoon, then dry weather is forecast for Sunday.

For tomorrow, high temperatures will warm up to 80 degrees under increasing clouds. After some showers to start, clearing skies are expected late Saturday with afternoon highs in the middle and upper 70s. A warm day and partly cloudy skies are in store for Sunday as highs reach the mid-80s. After that, an unsettled pattern will bring scattered showers to our area early next week.
