Shoreline Players sing the classics

OSCODA, Mich.– The Shoreline Players in Oscoda will be performing their second “Corona Cabaret.”

The small theatre troop will appear on their outdoor stage at 6000 Skeel Avenue Saturday night. People are invited to bring their lawn chairs and socially distance for an evening of free live music.

According to the group’s president Sue Miller, the troupe wanted to do something for the community and scratch their performance itch. Saturday night’s set will include many American classics.

“We’re opening with “Come Fly with Me,” Frank Sinatra.” Miller said, “We’ve got some Dolly Parton, some Stevie Nicks, some Janis Joplin, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley… So there’s kind of a little bit for everybody.”

The show begins at 5:00 P.M. The theme for next Saturday’s line–up is “singer’s choice.”
