Shakespeare-themed bard at the bar is canceled
ALPENA, Mich. — Last week the Downtown Development Authority decided to cancel the annual chili chowder cook off.
In addition to the chili chowder cook–off, the Shakespeare–themed bard at the bar is another popular event that has been cancelled.
According to the DDA’s Outreach Coordinator, Kingsli Kraft, fire damage at the Thunder Bay Theatre has played another big part in cancellation of the crawl.
Kraft said for now many events are on pause and they are still considering what to do for holidays.
She added that there are still things you can enjoy in meantime such as the new mural set to begin in a few weeks.
