Several local drug busts in two-day period

ALPENA, Mich. — The Huron Undercover Narcotics Team (HUNT) has made six arrests on various narcotics violations over a two-day span.

On Jan. 5, a trooper from the Michigan State Police Alpena Post stopped a vehicle and arrested a passenger for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine after a search turned up 11 grams of the substance in the vehicle. Information from this arrest was given to HUNT, who located a local residence as a possible drug house.

After surveillance, a vehicle leaving the residence was stopped by Alpena City Police Department with assistance from HUNT officials, and three arrests were made. A 35-year-old Alpena man, Nikolas Kemper Niezgoda, was charged with one count of Delivery of Fentanyl, Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine, and Habitual Offender Fourth. Niezgoda is being held on a $200,000 cash/surety bond. Stehnes Grace-Ann Yennior, 32, of Alpena was charged with Possession of Fentanyl and is being held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond, and 23-year-old Aaron Michelle
Bissonette of Alpena was charged with Delivery of Fentanyl and Conspiracy to Deliver Heroin or another Narcotic, as well as Habitual Offender Third. Bissonette is being held on a $150,000.00
cash/surety bond.

In a separate incident on Jan. 5, HUNT detectives arrested 42-year-old Nathaniel David Pratt of Gladwin for Delivery of Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine. 28-year old Devon Ian Churchfield of Midland was arrested for Delivery of Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine as well as Possession of Methamphetamine. These arrests were made after a month-long investigation.

The next day, Jan. 6, HUNT detectives arrested 35-year-old Joshua Wayne Carr of Alpena,for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, along with a Habitual Offender Fourth Notice. He is being held on a $200,000.00 cash/surety bond.
