Scouts travel from all over the state of Michigan to Alpena for weekend fun of Science
Alpena, Mich— It was a huge weekend for learning as girl scouts; boy scouts and cub scouts expanded their minds. Scouts traveled from all over the entire state of Michigan to gather in Alpena for their annual science fair.
The event was held at Alpena Community College and included 85 science experiments spread within 5 rooms based on Physics, Earth Science, CSI, Chemistry, and Biology.
Traverse City’s Troop Leader, Shari Hintz said activities like the ones her troops learned over the weekend will hopefully inspire them to go into fields of science and math in their future careers.
