Internship Opportunities:

 

WBKB-TV is seeking motivated students for internships in the Fall, Winter, and Summer semesters to shadow anchors and assist with daily duties in the newsroom.  The position requires a student who is dedicated and expresses strong interest in the broadcast journalism field. The position requires the student to receive credit for the internship.  There will be also opportunities for interns to practice editing news packages and shooting stand ups.

Intern Responsibilities:

  • Must come in 2 days a week for a minimum of 4 hours each day and log hours
  • Will conduct beat calls
  • Will shadow anchors in their daily responsibilities
  • Assist with writing
  • Other duties as assigned
