Rogers City council members approve sale of properties

ROGERS CITY. Mich.— During Tuesday’s council meeting , Rogers City council members approved the sale of various properties. Residents will vote this fall on the official sale of each property.

Vacant lots on North First, Cedar and Riverview Street are all up for sell in addition to the former water tower location approved by voters last year. Council members selected the four locations due to their non–use as a park or water supply.

Each property is owned by the city and proceeds collected from each sale will go back into the community. Interested buyers have ten days to bid on the sale of the former water tower starting this week.

Residents will vote on the other three properties on November 3.
