Registration open for virtual run to help state parks

LANSING, Mich. –

Registration is now open for Run For The Trees and the Happy Little Virtual 5k.

The run sponsored by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, helps support tree planting in Michigan state parks.

No matter how you reach the finish line – walk, run or hike – you pick the pace and the place, anywhere outdoors.

Participants have between April 22nd and April 30th to complete it. For good measure, Earth Day and Arbor Day serve as bookends to this race.
